Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To unite and represent national shuttlecock federations across Europe, establish official competition standards, organize European championships, and promote the sport's growth at all levels — from grassroots communities to international competition.
Our Vision
A Europe where shuttlecock is recognized as an official sport in every nation, with structured national leagues, a robust European championship circuit, and a growing community of athletes, referees, and fans united by their love for the game.

History of Shuttlecock in Europe
2026
Third General Assembly
The SFE holds its third annual assembly on 19 March 2026, admits Romania as a new member and confirms Italy as the planned host location for the next European Championship cycle.
2025
8th European Championship in Hungary
The first European Championship under the SFE flag. Seven nations compete in Hungary: France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, and Romania.
2025
Extraordinary General Assembly
An extraordinary session is convened to adopt statutory amendments and strengthen the federation's governance ahead of the European Championship.
2024
SFE Founded
The Shuttlecock Federation of Europe is officially founded on March 5, 2024, registered as an association in France. Founding members: France, Germany, and Hungary.
2019
World Cup in France
France hosts a highly successful Shuttlecock World Cup, demonstrating the sport's international appeal and setting the stage for European federation.
2016
7th European Championship
Kistelek, Hungary hosts the seventh European Championship with 10 participating countries and 53 recorded athletes.
2003–2014
Early European Championships
From Bochum 2003 to Pustkow-Osiedle 2014, the first six European Championships establish the competitive tradition that later leads to the creation of the SFE.
